1. What this page is for
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), and similar state privacy laws in Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana, Delaware, Iowa, New Jersey, Tennessee, Minnesota, Maryland, and other states, you have the right to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of your personal information.
This page explains how TruckInsurePro shares personal information and how you can exercise your right to opt out.
2. What we share and why
When you submit a quote request, we share the information you provide with Insurance Partners in our network so they can contact you with commercial auto insurance quotes. We also share information with advertising platforms (including Meta, Google, TikTok, and similar services) for marketing analytics and audience measurement.
Under the CCPA/CPRA, these practices may constitute a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information because we receive consideration (either monetary payment or something of value) in exchange. We do not sell personal information in the plain-English sense of selling data to data brokers for cash. But because the legal definition is broader, we are transparent about this activity and give you the right to opt out.
We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of minors under 16 years of age.
3. How to opt out
You may opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information using any of the methods below. We will process your request within 15 business days as required by CPRA, or within the time frame required by your state's law.

Option 3: Browser-level opt-out signals
We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal. If your browser or browser extension sends a GPC signal when you visit our website, we will treat that as a valid opt-out request for the device and browser you are using. For more information about GPC, visit globalprivacycontrol.org.
4. Information already shared
Opting out prevents future sharing of your personal information but does not automatically revoke information that has already been shared with our insurance partners. To ask a specific partner to delete or stop using your information, contact that partner directly. See our Partner List page for the names and contact information of our active partners, or email hello@truckinsurepro.com for assistance identifying which partner has your information.

5. Authorized agents
California, Colorado, and certain other state laws allow you to designate an authorized agent to make a privacy request on your behalf. To do so, your authorized agent must provide: (a) written permission signed by you; and (b) sufficient information for us to verify your identity. We may contact you directly to confirm the agent's authority.
