1. What is the TCPA?

The Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) is a federal law that regulates marketing calls, texts, and prerecorded messages to consumers. Under the TCPA and related FCC rules, businesses must obtain your "prior express written consent" before contacting you on a cellphone using an automated dialer, prerecorded voice, or artificial voice for marketing purposes.

This page explains how TruckInsurePro handles your consent when you request a quote.

When you submit a quote request through our website, you are expressly authorizing TruckInsurePro and our insurance partners (insurance agencies, carriers, or aggregators in our partner network) to contact you regarding commercial auto insurance. This contact may include:

These contacts may occur at the phone number(s) and email address you provided, even if those numbers are on a federal, state, or company Do-Not-Call registry. Your consent is not a condition of any purchase. Message and data rates from your carrier may apply.

3. Full consent disclosure

The exact disclosure presented on our quote form reads as follows:

By clicking "Get My Free Quote," I provide my prior express written consent and electronic signature to receive telephone calls, text messages, and emails from TruckInsurePro (Blurbpoint Media Inc.) and our insurance partners at the telephone number(s) and email address I have provided, including calls or texts delivered using an automatic telephone dialing system, artificial or prerecorded voice, or other automated technology, for marketing purposes related to commercial auto insurance. I understand that:

  • Consent is not a condition of purchase of any goods or services;
  • Message and data rates may apply;
  • I may revoke this consent at any time using any reasonable method (see Section 5 below);
  • I am at least 18 years old and the owner or authorized user of the phone number(s) I have provided;
  • My information is subject to the Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

4. Who may contact you

When you submit a quote request, you may receive an email, phone call, or text message (SMS) from one or more of our insurance partners. These partners are licensed insurance agencies, brokers, carriers, or aggregators that are authorized to offer commercial auto insurance in your state. They will contact you to discuss your quote options and help you bind coverage if you decide to move forward.

A list of our current insurance partners — including the partner most likely to contact you first — is available on our Partner List page. Typically, your information reaches between one and four licensed partners per quote request, depending on your state, vehicle type, business profile, and each partner's current underwriting appetite.

5. How to revoke consent

You may revoke your consent at any time using any reasonable method. Under FCC rules effective April 11, 2025, we honor all revocation requests within 10 business days. Reasonable methods include:

Revocation applies to future marketing contacts. We may still contact you briefly to confirm that your opt-out has been processed; this confirmation will not contain marketing content.

If you have provided your information to one of our insurance partners, you will need to contact that partner directly to revoke consent for calls or texts from them. To receive the contact information for a specific partner that has contacted you, email hello@truckinsurepro.com.

6. Records we keep

To demonstrate compliance with the TCPA, we maintain records of each quote request, including:

We retain these records for at least five years as required by the FTC Telemarketing Sales Rule and industry best practices.
